Think “principles of troubleshooting” for AFCS (Auto Flight Control Systems). Presentation of a “Logic Flow” diagram helps technicians isolate malfunctioning LRUs (Line Replaceable Unit) required for each of the 10 commonly available AFCS modes of operation. Each mode will be reviewed to highlight it’s operational requirements, most common faults, most probable cause, hints and tips. This course will help the technicians to develop effective troubleshooting skills on other complex avionics systems.
