Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems – SMS is enroute! This is a must-attend session in order to prepare your repair station for SMS implementation with assistance from the AEA! [+] more info
After thorough analysis, the gap between a solid Quality Management System and the technical elements of the future Safety Management Systems for a maintenance organization is reasonably narrow. This session is the first in a series to begin the transition for AEA members from a minimal quality control system as mandated by Part 145 to a modern Quality Management System. This transition will reduce the cost and complexity of SMS compliance when the FAA moves forward with their long-anticipated rulemaking. |
