Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand proposes revision to AC 43-14

SUMMARY: 
The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand has proposed a revision to AC 43-14, Standard Design Changes: Acceptable Technical Data
 
The advisory circular contains guidance and information about standards, practices, and procedures that the director has found to be an acceptable means of compliance with the associated rules and legislation.

This revision amends the title of the advisory circular and incorporates the following appendixes.

  • Appendix 2: Installation of FAA TSO-C126 () ELTs.
  • Appendix 13: Installation of "all-in-one" ADS-B systems.
  • Appendix 14: Temporary mounting of lightweight cameras.

Comments close 18 March, 2019. 

AEA COMMENTARY:
The Aircraft Electronics Association encourages members to read, review and comment on the proposed changes to this advisory circular. The focus of comments should be (1) errors contained within the AC and (2) any potential additional avionics systems that should be included in future revisions.
