Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is an integral part of the team by being the professional voice of Avgroup. Inside Sales Representative position is the liaison between Avgroup’s customers and its support teams. The position is key in communicating customer expectations to the organization and informing customers of Avgroup’s capabilities. At all times, a high degree of professionalism is required.
The focus of the position will be on customer service and customer relationships. Avgroup generates sales because our customers trust us. In the aerospace industry, there is no second chance. Every transaction must be handled with upmost care and transparency. To ensure compliance, all applicants will spend a minimum of 90 days learning our culture, processes, policies, and customer offerings. After 90 days, team members will be eligible to move into the Inside Sales Representative position. The position will work in a team environment which will include Supply Chain, Logistics / Warehouse, and Accounting. The position does require a broad knowledge of the overall operation. We do require work experience in either the commercial or business aviation market.
Manage customer communications related to product & service offering.
Generate new sales opportunities.
Develop new customers.
Quote customer prices as documented in the system.
Enter quotes in Avgroup’s system.
Follow-up with customer quotes.
Customer order entry.
Manage customer reporting.
Maintain customer account profiles as required.
Answer questions related to warranties and terms of sale.
Handle product recalls as instructed.
Coordinate with internal departments any unique customer requirements.
Update customers with shipping and TAT information.
Periodically update the leadership with either new market information or trends.
Participate in team projects.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Positive attitude under pressure
Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the US.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or relevant field, or:
A minimum of five years’ experience in a customer service or sales role, and A minimum of two year’ experience in aviation.
Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software offerings required.
Strong attention to detail.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to sit and type at a computer terminal for long periods of time utilizing close vision to review reports and documents.
