Free Copies Available at NBAA Convention LEE'S SUMMIT, MO., Oct. 15, 2013 -- Published annually by the Aircraft Electronics Association, free copies of the 2013-14 edition of the Pilot's Guide to Avionics will be available at the National Business Aviation Association's Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 22-24. AEA staff members will distribute the publication to hundreds of business aviation executives, manufacturers, pilots and aircraft owners at the AEA's booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center, No. C8020.
Some of the articles featured in this year's Pilot's Guide to Avionics include:
"Without a doubt, pilots and aircraft owners don't want just anyone working on their airplane or helicopter," said Paula Derks, AEA president. "After all, life depends on it. So how do pilots and owners find the most qualified and experienced personnel to keep their aircraft safe and up-to-date with all the latest and greatest avionics technologies? It's easy -- simply look for these talented experts and members of the AEA in this year's Pilot's Guide to Avionics. "Each government-certified repair station brings with it a degree of oversight that cannot be matched in the private sector. Owners and employees of AEA member companies have access to an organization that helps train qualified technicians and provide stable business practices and safe operations, which pays dividends to aircraft owners and pilots. The AEA is thrilled to personally deliver this year's Pilot's Guide to Avionics at the AOPA Aviation Summit, and our staff looks forward to giving complimentary copies to all the pilots and aircraft owners at the AEA booth in Fort Worth." Thousands of Pilot's Guides are distributed each year at no charge to all AEA members, flying clubs throughout the U.S. and major industry trade shows.
