LEE'S SUMMIT, MISSOURI, Feb. 16, 2016 -- The Aircraft Electronics Association today announced a revised schedule for its 2016 AEA Connect conferences. In an effort to provide more hotel availability for AEA member companies in attendance, the new schedule includes a date change for the Latin America Connect conference in Bogota, Colombia, along with new cities for both the East and West regions of the U.S. The first AEA Connect conference of the year occurred Jan. 26-27 in Cologne, Germany, with a record 24 companies exhibiting, 25 avionics shops represented and a total of 94 attendees. The remaining AEA Connect schedule for 2016 is as follows:
The annual AEA Connect conferences are two-day events that personally connect general aviation industry professionals. Formerly known as the AEA Regional Meetings, the AEA Connect conferences have grown beyond simply receiving regulatory updates and technical training via a classroom-style lecture -- attendees are now more engaged than ever in the educational environment with interactive discussions and analysis. Avionics repair stations, manufacturers, regulators and educators show an increasing desire to come together, network and personally conduct serious business -- they want to connect in person. With an exhibit hall filled with the latest avionics technologies and services, attendees feel a greater personal connection with the opportunity to see, touch and feel new products and visit face-to-face with the experts. Registration for each of the upcoming conferences will be available in the near future at www.aea.net/connect. – 30 – |
