Avionics Skills Competition

The AEA and BITTS will host the Avionics Skills Competition at the AEA International Convention & Trade Show on Wednesday, March 25.

Competition Details:

• Building a Wire Harness – Students will strip, crimp, and connect a wire harness used for testing connectors that they can keep after the competition.
• Troubleshoot a GPS Radio– Students will find faults in a GPS radio.
• Digital Logic Diagram – Students will read a digital logic diagram and determine what the proper output should be in a digital circuit.
• Troubleshooting a Wire Diagram – Students will be presented with a wire harness and wiring diagram and use a multimeter to find the faults.
• Network Troubleshooting – Students will use a digital networking analyzer to find faults in a digital databus.
