To help support the individuals and businesses impacted by the tornado that moved through downtown Nashville on March 3, a portion of the proceeds generated by the AEA Silent Auction will be donated to the disaster relief effort.
Thankfully, the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center was not in the path of the tornado and did not suffer any damage. In addition, the Wildhorse Saloon, which is the site of the AEA First-Nighter Party slated for March 24 in downtown Nashville, was not in the storm's path and will continue normal operations. However, many families in the surrounding area have been impacted, and we can help them with our show of support.
The silent auction is administered by the AEA Educational Foundation and will take place inside the exhibit hall during the 63rd annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville.
In addition to the disaster relief donation, the silent auction will benefit the AEA Educational Foundation's ability to award scholarships for avionics and aircraft maintenance technicians.
Show your support by bidding on or donating an item. Click here for the AEA Silent Auction donation form or email Linda Adams with any questions.
