Thanks to some new “friends,” the Aircraft Electronics Association will donate $200 to Wings of Hope, a nonprofit organization that specializes in helping people in need of free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes, as well as poverty reduction strategies.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the AEA pledged to donate $1 for every individual who “liked” the AEA Facebook page and/or joined the AEA’s LinkedIn group between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31. Nearly 200 people participated in the effort, and the AEA will make the contribution to Wings of Hope in January.
