NextGen Ahead Conference Set for Sept. 9-11 in Washington, D.C.

The NextGen Ahead Air Transportation Modernization Conference will take place at the Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, D.C., Sept. 9-11.

The event is produced by Aviation Week, an information and services provider to the global commercial, defense, maintenance/repair/overhaul (MRO), space and business aviation communities. The purpose is to bring 250 of the most influential industry stakeholders together from airlines, government agencies and industry providers to discuss strategic and operational implications. This year’s focus is on functionality, achieved results and decision factors into next steps.

Now in its fourth year, the NextGen Ahead Conference will address important issues, including:

  • GPS interference and security.
  • NextGen dashboard – what are the metrics telling us?
  • Where is NextGen in the fiscal budget?
  • Collaboration/communication between ground and air.
  • FAA executive keynote panel.
  • ADS-B.
