SUMMARY:
The AEA is submitting comments on draft Advisory Circular 43-210A. The draft AC describes a standardized procedure for requesting approval of technical data associated with major alterations/repairs for certified products, and includes guidance for obtaining field approval of data, instructions for completing the field approval checklist, and determining if a proposed repair/alteration requires approved data.
The changes to this AC are mostly format changes, and few technical changes. The AEA is submitting recommended textual changes to improve clarity of the AC.
