Regulatory Update: The Latest in Aviation Regulations
Kickstart your day with the most up-to-date and relevant information in the world of aviation regulations at our Regulatory Rise & Shine. This session serves as a comprehensive source of regulatory news, information, and events that directly impact you, your customers, and your business. We will begin the session with a focus on the current regulatory agenda, discussing any recent changes or proposed amendments in aviation rules and how they might affect various stakeholders. We will examine these developments in the context of safety, operations, environmental sustainability, and the broader economic impact on the aviation industry.

Understanding MOSAIC and its Impact on Avionics and Maintenance
The FAA’s proposal for the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certificates (MOSAIC) expands both the size and scope of light sport aircraft as well as the range of aircraft that sport pilots may fly. Lost in the NPRM are changes to maintenance and modifications to these types of aircraft.  We will review each regulatory part affected by the FAA’s proposed NPRM.

Maintenance of International Aircraft and Bilateral Agreements: A Comprehensive Guide
Navigate the complexities of aircraft maintenance on a global scale and explore the intricacies of bilateral aviation agreements. Come away with enhanced insights, a broader perspective, and practical understanding that can be applied in the ever-evolving world of international aviation. We will discuss how these bilateral agreements influence international relations, trade and cooperation. We will also take an in-depth look at the challenges and issues that arise in the absence of such agreements.

Workforce Development and Advantages of Part 145: Exploring New Horizons in Aviation Maintenance
This session covers the aviation workforce and the advantages repair stations have when employing technicians. In our industry, we often have the following conversation: There is a shortage of (1) personnel in general and (2) trained and qualified individuals, specifically. To support the “grow your own” path and the certification of qualified individuals, the AEA has developed two clearly defined options in cooperation with the FAA. Attendees can expect to leave with a deeper understanding of these two options and their impact on workforce development strategies and how to leverage the benefits of Part 145 to bolster their workforce.
