Avionics Technician

Job Duties trouble-shoot to component level in the bench of various avionics systems on general aviation good understanding of basic computer interface to avionics systems for software and database upgrades. Perform 2 years transponder and altimeter recertification per CARs 571 Complete required paperwork following maintenance and inspections. Ensure compliance with CARs regulations under the company's Repair Station procedures. Education Electronics background – Engineer or Technologist Licenses/Certificates AME is a plus, but not required. Experience At least 3 experience as a bench Avionics Technician Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership skills. Effective decision-making skills. Strong team working skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills in order to prioritize workload according to business demands and works well under pressure. Is required to be proficient in oral and written English. Benefits Paid 3 weeks Vacation after first year. We provide excellent opportunities for factory and ongoing training.
