We are a small business located in Wellington, KS(20 miles south of Wichita). Our company specializes in engine upgrades for single engine Cessna aircraft. Recently, we acquired a Garmin Dealership to better serve our customer base with the best products. The ideal applicant needs to be able to provide quotes and interact with customers. Applicant with GA background is preferred.
The ideal candidate to have knowledge installing avionics equipment and enjoy working in small teams. A strong desire to learn everyday is required. Because we are a small business, this job is ideal to any candidate that can work with the minimum amount of supervision and work together with the team to deliver the job on time. We are seeking a candidate that can initially begin as an avionics installer then train another avionics tech to work with as we grow. Position responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems.
- Work directly with customers to provide avionics equipment options and quotations for their aircraft.
- Schedule installation, troubleshooting and repairs of aircraft avionics equipment for the Avionics Department.
- Train apprentice and avionics technicians using proper installation, troubleshooting and repairs of avionics equipment.
- Prepare weekly work schedule for the Avionics Department.
- Able to maintain Repair Station records and documentation as required for Avionics Department.
