Avionics Technician - Bench repair of legacy avionics units

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Avionics Bench Technician duties include: Troubleshoot, diagnose, calibrate, overhaul and repair down to the component level a variety of legacy avionics system components for the purpose of ensuring the function and providing the customer with reliable and quality repair.

? Ensure the quality of work performed meets the manufacturers or industry’s specifications

? Properly handling all parts while in the repair process through the Avionics Shop until work is completed

? Preserving all units or parts during process through the Avionics Shop until work is completed.

? Capable of, and experienced in reading, understanding, and following instructions found in technical manuals for the equipment being worked on.

Training for entry-level candidates with relevant electronics education/certifications may be available.

Qualifications

? High school diploma or equivalent. 

? 60 months legacy avionics bench tech or equivalent experience is preferred.

? Formal Electronics training or certification.

? Capable of, and experienced in reading, understanding, and following instructions found in technical manuals for the equipment being worked on.

? This position is subject to pre-hire, random, and for cause drug and alcohol testing under DOT and FAA regulations.

? Lawful US Persons as defined in 22CFR 120.15 for required matters.
