Ability to work first shift and overtime.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work a 40-hour work week (5 X 8’s) and occasional overtime.
Able to lift 50lbs.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in the work environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national; or lawfully admitted to the U.S as a refugee or granted asylum.
Must be able to pass a drug test upon employment and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with FAA policies.
Preferred Requirements
Two (2) years related work experience or two (2) years of accredited schooling in electronics preferred but not required.
Demonstrates basic mechanical and electromechanical experience.
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow strict maintenance guidelines.
Ability to read basic electronic schematics.
Position Purpose
Assists in troubleshooting and overhauling/repairing aircraft instruments.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under supervision, performs the maintenance and functional testing of instruments per OEM manual specifications and drawings ensuring a defect free component. (Miniature motors, solenoids, servos, ect…)
- Assists in ensuring quality and efficiency of all work performed. Troubleshoots processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs.
- Performs and complies with engineering changes and modifications as required.
- Assists in set up and operation of necessary test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
