Avionics Technician
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in General Aviation Avionics. Candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include installation and testing of aircraft electronics equipment and systems. Regular duties consist of fabrication, termination and testing of avionics system wiring harness, and the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interior and instrument panels.
Installation of new avionics equipment in general aviation and corporate aircraft, including King Air, Citation, Lear, Beechcraft, Cessna, etc. Experience in these aircraft is beneficial.
Technicians must have a good understanding of and be able to read wiring diagrams and other installation technical data.
Experience in troubleshooting and installing avionics is required.
Must be capable and knowledgeable to perform 91.411 and 91.413 inspections.
Excellent computer skills are required.
FAA Airframe/Powerplant License is a plus but not required.
Previous holder of Repairman Liscence is a plus but not required.
