Hiring Avionics Installer/Technician

Location: Boulder City, Nevada
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4/10s)
Pay: $30–$45/hr (DOE) — 60–90 Day Probation Period

About the Role:
We’re looking for experienced Avionics Technicians with FAA Airframe & Powerplant certifications to join our team under our 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in avionics installation and maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance to ensure continued aircraft airworthiness.

What You'll Do:

  • Independently install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/avionics systems, including:

    • Communications

    • Navigation

    • Radar

    • TCAS/Transponder

    • DME

    • Autopilot/Flight Director

    • Audio/ADF

    • Engine Monitoring

    • Other advanced avionics and electronics

  • Integrate new systems with existing avionics or operate independently as required.

  • Work with equipment from vendors such as Garmin, S-TEC, Avidyne, and EII.

  • Perform in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM technical data.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding job status and timelines.

  • Support continued airworthiness of general aviation fixed-wing aircraft including Cessna, Beechcraft, and Piper.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • FAA A&P Certification required.

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).

  • Minimum of 2 years of avionics installation and maintenance experience on fixed-wing or rotorcraft under 14 CFR Part 135 operations.

  • Hands-on experience with general aviation aircraft (Cessna, Beech, Piper preferred).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Able to work in confined spaces and extreme desert conditions.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, climbing, and using ladders.
