Avionics

We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support our expanding fleet of company-owned aircraft and external customer projects, based in Safford, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel and perform work at offsite locations as needed
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting installation manuals and schematics
  • Expertise in installing, programming, calibrating, and testing avionics systems
    • Glass Cockpits
    • Autopilots
    • Communications Systems
    • Naviagation Systems
  • Capability to conduct VFR, IFR, and RVSM certifications
  • Skilled in using crimping tools, extractors, and specialized test equipment, including
    • AFM8 crimpers
    • GMT 232 Environental Splice crimper
    • HX4
    • IFR 4000/6000
    • DFW 9200A Pitot/Static test set
    • Barfield 1811NG Pitot/Static test set
    • Multi-meter (all functions)
    • And similar tools
  • Familiarity with and adherence to standard practices outlined in AC 43.13-1B/2B
  • Experience with:
    • General Aviation Aircraft
    • King Air
    • Twin Commander Turbine/Piston
    • Conquest
    • Air Tractor
    • Citation Jets
  • Preferred but not required qualifications: A&P, IA, and/or FCC license
