Job Title: Avionics Technician
Location: Spring, Texas
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: 9-80, 3-day weekend every other week.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of avionics systems, works well in a team environment, and is committed to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test, and repair avionics systems including communication, navigation, flight control, and radar systems

Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation using schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment

Conduct inspections and ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company procedures

Complete accurate maintenance documentation and logbook entries

Interface with engineers, inspectors, and other maintenance personnel

Perform software updates and system configuration as required

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Support aircraft modification and upgrade projects
Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Avionics Technician or related role

Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and avionics systems

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

Proficiency with avionics test equipment

Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and safety
Preferred Qualifications
-
FAA A&P license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

Experience with specific aircraft types: Helicopters

Experience with systems such as Garmin, Technisonic, Etc.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated platforms

Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
