Avionics Tech - Jackson Jet Center (Boise, ID)

Jackson Jet Center, a Boise-based Part 135/145 maintenance facility and full-service FBO, is seeking a full-time Avionics Technician. Qualified candidates will be team- and goal-oriented, with three or more years of experience in private and corporate aviation.

Position Summary
This role involves a wide variety of avionics work performed both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities vary by day and project.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform functional testing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft electrical and avionics systems (scheduled and drop-in)
• Troubleshoot avionics and electrical issues; Collins Aerospace Pro Line 21 experience required, with Honeywell APEX strongly preferred
• Perform 91.411 and 91.413 certifications on Pilatus PC-12, Citation, Challenger, and other aircraft
• Install and update avionics databases (Garmin G1000/G3000/GTN, Pro Line 21, Honeywell APEX)
• Conduct avionics testing during annual and phase inspections
• Test and troubleshoot components using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
• Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and timely
• Interpret flight test data to diagnose system malfunctions
• Assist with and perform avionics STC installations
• Occasional travel and overtime as needed

Qualifications
• Minimum two (2) years of avionics experience in private/corporate aviation
• A&P certificate preferred
• Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and OEM specifications
• Ability to follow repair station manuals and safety procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of both
