Avionics Installer Technician
Position Overview: Carolina Turbine Support, an authorized Mitsubishi MU-2 Service Center, is seeking experienced Avionics Technician/Installers. The primary focus of this role is the installation, integration, troubleshooting, and support of Garmin avionics systems on Mitsubishi MU-2 turboprop aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate Garmin avionics equipment.
- Perform avionics wiring, configuration, testing, and functional checks
- Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems
- Collaborate with A&P mechanics on comprehensive aircraft projects
- Maintain detailed and accurate FAA-compliant documentation
Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience (2-3 years) installing and troubleshooting Garmin avionics systems in general aviation aircraft; MU-2 experience highly desireable
- Industry certifications and Garmin-specific training strongly desired
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required
