MRO Manager/Procurement Specialist

Wesco Mfg based in Long Island NY is a firmly established global leader in military defense. Contractor to over 60 nations worldwide, Wesco is a leading supplier of military and commercial equipment and support services. With over 30 years of operation in Military Export Sales, We are continually looking to expand our team with dedicated employees that want to work and excel with us.

As a result of exponential growth, our firm seeks highly motivated individuals for procurement of commercial and military aerospace and defense related spares and repairs. Purchasing background for industry specific commodities relating to aircraft, ground support and missile systems is requested. Duties include sourcing, quotation, negotiation and procurement. Industry experience in this specific field is required along with an extensive knowledge of parts sourcing and research methods such as ILS, Haystack and etc. is a must.

Candidate should have a wide range of repair source experience including instrumentation, hydraulics, engines, landing gear, structural components and etc. A strong industry based MRO knowledge of aerospace OEM and FAA qualified repair sources for military and commercial aircraft and helicopters is required. Min 5 year prior experience must be within the aerospace industry and directly related to sourcing and maintaining repair and overhaul services.

We wish to immediately hire a knowledgeable, experienced repair director/manager to coordinate and oversee the company's outsourced repair and overhaul activities in the aerospace industry. We specialize in the support of both fixed wing and rotary military aircraft of all types.

Experience with operating PENTAGON2000 SQL software preferred. We are offering a competitive salary and benefits with growth potential.
