Calibration Lab Quality Technician (Req ID 2022-117)

  1. Performs incoming and outgoing quality assurance inspections and other QA functions as necessary, assists in managing Cal Lab workflow, equipment database administration and new equipment setup.
  2. Performs customer service duties such as; scheduling, purchasing functions, general clerical tasks, quoting, billing and shipping.
  3. With supervision, calibrates, adjusts, troubleshoots and repairs less complex test and measurement equipment within pre-established technical flat rate time limits, using Duncan Aviation approved procedures and appropriate technical publications in a clean and safe work environment.
  4. Prepares complete and timely documentation, including updating work order status, as required by Duncan approved procedures and customer requirements, with assistance as needed. Maintains personal training log.
  5. Prepares complete, accurate and timely information for creating repair and/or calibration estimates, with assistance as needed. Maintains files on calibration of test equipment in compliance with Duncan Aviation approved procedures and customer requirements.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
