Mobile Response Technicians - Boise, ID

Job Description

Western Aircraft, Inc., one of the largest aircraft services companies in the West, has exciting opportunities for certified and experienced A&P Technicians for our Mobile Response Team in beautiful Boise, Idaho!

No travel / Boise based

Schedules:

Monday thru Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Friday thru Sunday, 12-hour shifts
7 on / 7 off

**Extensive experience with general aviation aircraft and ability to complete projects with no supervision required**

** A&Ps proficient with Avionics FAR 91.411 & 91.413 will be given preference**

Job Summary

The Mobile Response Team (MRT) Maintenance Technicians will be based in Boise and will not require travel. These technicians will be responsible for repair and maintenance service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs repair and service on general aviation aircraft
  • Carries an MRT call phone 24/7/365 on scheduled shift days
  • Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
  • Offers technical advice via phone
  • Travels as required via car, boat, or air to customer location for MRT support
  • Coordinates offsite road trips to perform required maintenance
  • Assists and/or facilitates invoicing and payments for MRT services for those customers without credit terms, and prior to release of aircraft
  • Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications & Job Requirements

Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience required working with general and corporate aircraft
  • Advanced troubleshooting abilities
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft systems
  • OEM specific training preferred
