Space Based Augmentation System (SBAS) in Australia & New Zealand Presented by Andrew Andersen, IAOPA
The New Zealand and Australian Governments have contracted with Lockheed Martin Australia for the development and implementation of a regional SBAS, to be known as SouthPAN. SouthPAN will provide an L1 GPS augmentation service (equivalent to US WAAS and European EGNOS) across Australia and New Zealand.
