Technical Sales Specialist - Aerospace Avionics/Electronics

Our Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to provide essential technical and administrative support to the Technical Sales / Product Manager and the Business Development Team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of customer-facing technical documentation and serving as a critical technical point of contact for the Business Development team and for its customers.

 Day- To-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first-line technical resource for the broader BD team, addressing initial technical questions regarding product features, specifications, and architecture.
  • Maintain and update the accuracy of customer-facing technical documents, including product/component descriptions, data sheets, and technical presentations.
  • Assist in the assembly and administrative preparation of technical proposals, including organizing technical data and initial drafting of compliance matrices.
  • Promote company solutions and provide product demonstrations at trade shows, conventions, and customer site visits (approximately 15% travel).
  • Act as a communication bridge between the BD team and the engineering team for product clarification requests.

Here’s What You’ll Bring With You…

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a technical discipline (Engineering/Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support, sales/BD engineering, or product support role - preferably within the avionics/aerospace or related technology industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, document repositories, and CRM tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex technical documentation.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.
