Experienced Avionics Technician

Coastal Winds Avionics is looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to join our growing team in Mobile, Alabama.

We are an established avionics shop specializing in avionics installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, wiring, and custom panel work on a variety of general aviation aircraft. We work with leading avionics manufacturers, including Garmin, and take pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Install and troubleshoot modern aircraft avionics systems
  • Perform avionics wiring, terminations, and modifications
  • Install and integrate GPS, communication, navigation, transponder, ADS-B, autopilot, and other avionics systems
  • Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and installation manuals
  • Assist with custom panel fabrication and avionics upgrades
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper system operation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work in accordance with applicable regulations and approved data
  • Work independently as well as as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as an avionics technician is required
  • Strong troubleshooting and electrical/wiring skills
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Experience with general aviation aircraft avionics installations
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
