Position Summary

The Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts, tooling, and molds. This role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and apply advanced machining techniques. The Machinist will be working with steel, aluminum, magnesium, and titanium.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manual tooling machines, CNC machines, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to ensure parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of machined Tooling and Molds to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Write and edit CNC programs to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. SolidWorks proficiency preferred.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Set up machines and adjust controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth of cut.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the workspace is clean and organized.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or technical school training preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials and proficiency in the uses of SolidWorks.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks with precision.

We’re seeking specialized avionics technicians with extensive experience in Garmin avionics installations and maintenance, particularly for Cirrus, Beechcraft, and Citation aircraft. Responsibilities:
  • Execute complete Garmin avionics installations, upgrades, and modifications

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and maintain compliance with FAA Part 145 Repair Station and FAA part 21 PMA, TC, and PC regulations. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to AS9100 standards, Quality Management Systems, and customer requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the Quality Control Program to ensure compliance with FAA Part 145, Part 21, and AS9100 standards.
  • Ensure quality control functions align with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of quality programs.

Position Requirements

  • 5-10 years of aviation experience, with at least 2 years in a QA/QC role and
  • 2 years in a management position.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate with Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Experience with EASA regulations is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 (implementation experience preferred); AS9110 knowledge is a plus.

About the Role:
We’re looking for experienced Avionics Technicians with FAA Airframe & Powerplant certifications to join our team under our 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station. What You'll Do:

  • Independently install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/avionics systems, including:

Job Summary 

The Airframe and Powerplant/Avionics Technician is part of our maintenance team and they are responsible for maintaining our clients aircraft. They are responsible for aircraft maintenance and/or avionics repairs and installations, quality control and assurance. They are also responsible for continuously learning about new aircraft systems and staying abreast of new aircraft technology and regulatory changes.

Job Responsibilities  

1. Aircraft Maintenance and Repairs 

  • Conduct scheduled inspections on airframes and powerplants to ensure compliance with the manufacturer and FAA guidelines. 

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with aircraft components such as engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems. 

  • Perform in-depth repairs on aircraft engines, including the inspection of piston or turbines, and propellers. 

2. Avionics Maintenance and Installations 

  • Conduct avionics inspections including 91.411 and 91.413 testing, RVSM certifications 

  • Repair of all avionics systems with a working knowledge of those avionics systems. 

  • Perform avionics installations using provided wiring diagrams with knowledge of industry standards on aircraft modification and cable/harness assembly.  

3. Quality Control and Assurance 

  • Ensure aircraft systems are calibrated correctly and operating within safety parameters, including testing flight controls, fuel systems, and navigation instruments. 

  • Identify potential defects in the aircraft’s structure or systems and taking corrective actions to prevent future issues. 

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns or failures, ensuring aircraft reliability and minimizing downtime. 

4. Continuous Learning and Maintenance Certification  

  • Stay up to date with the latest aircraft technologies, tools, and regulatory changes through continuous education and training. 

  • Maintain FAA A&P certification by meeting required training hours and adhering to FAA standards and regulations. 

  • Obtain additional certifications for specific aircraft models, systems, or advanced technologies to expand expertise.

Job Summary:

Growing 145 Repair Station located at Allegheny Country Airport is looking for experienced Helicopter Avionics and Mechanics. The Helicopter avionics and mechanics will be responsible for ensuring our helicopters are up to FAA standards. The helicopter mechanic will be responsible for inspecting the helicopters, determining if any parts need replacing and diagnosing and troubleshooting any mechanical and technological problems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance to ensure aircraft airworthiness on all systems including: (e.g., Airframe, avionics, flight controls, troubleshooting systems, inspections).

·        Conducting regular and methodical inspections on all the helicopters in our hangars, according to inspection regulations.

·        Identifying potential problems, performing diagnosis procedures to determine the causes, and troubleshooting the problems.

·        Performing the necessary repairs to correct diagnosed problems in a timely manner.

·        Conducting scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes.

·        Using the appropriate instruments, tools, and software programs to measure performance and make repairs.

·        Communicating with helicopter pilots about the performance of the helicopters during flight.

·        Troubleshooting any issues brought to light by the helicopter pilots immediately.

·        Making helicopter retirement recommendations based on previous maintenance, repairs, and flight times.

·        Keeping detailed maintenance logs and reports.

Position Summary

Responsible for administering a wide variety of purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a primarily aviation, government contracting, and procurement environment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Review requisitions and Bill of Materials and prepare purchase orders and/or requests for proposal
  • Accountable for quality and timeliness of purchase orders in support of rapid response programs
  • Work directly with suppliers/PMO to mitigate risk or issues and ensure that project schedule is not compromised
  • Lead negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Resolve issues and expedite material and service orders for all contracts
  • Communicate with departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Program Management to ensure product requirements are met
  • Participate in and support internal and external purchasing audits
  • Work with aircraft technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions
  • Maintain existing supplier relationships and initiate potential new supplier relationships
  • Participate on supply chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
  • Attend internal and supplier meetings as needed
  • Oversee Inventory 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline desired
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience procuring aviation related materials/services
  • Experience pricing customer Bill of Materials (BOM) supporting proposal efforts is desired
  • Experience issuing Purchase Orders
  • Comprehensive experience performing Price or Cost Analysis to Determine Fair and Reasonable pricing
  • Sound knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Experience negotiating price, lead time, and terms and conditions with vendors
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen

Position Summary

This position will develop a variety of mechanical and structural engineering solutions for civilian and military use helicopter rotor blades.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Create revisions to detail parts and assemblies.
  • Mature design concepts in support of a revision or new part release when a revision is not the appropriate avenue for change.
  • Update detail, assembly, and installation CAD models and engineering for the airframe.
  • Assist in researching technical data and developing solutions for the project or assignment.
  • Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing, or specialty personnel to resolve problems and execute revision routing.
  • Support the development of product changes and improvements responding to data/action requests from procurement, manufacturing, tooling etc.
  • Preparation of engineering change requests, change orders, and engineering drawing maintenance.
  • Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design activities, prioritize tasks, and report status to design leads.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace structural design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to project requirements.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English Language.
  • Must be able to pass a Federal DOT drug and alcohol screen

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Combination of Office and Shop Floor settings
  • Frequent use of computers, phones, and video conferencing tools
  • Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines
  • Travel to customer sites using a personal vehicle may be required
  • Work within heavily regulated aerospace standards and protocols
