Three AEA members have reported fraud in the last 24 hours conducting business with an individual/company selling popular panel-mounted avionics equipment. The individual/company asks for payment via credit card or wire transfer but does not ship the equipment nor does the individual/company respond to phone call and email inquiries. To be sure you are conducting business with a legitimate business take the necessary precautions and be sure the individual/company you are buying from is reachable via phone, has an established place of business, and is either accredited by the Better Business Bureau or has no alerts listed in their BBB profile.
