10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Genesys Aerosystems - 3100 Autopilot Installation & Troubleshooting
Session aims to provide a brief overview of the Genesys Aerosystems 3100 Autopilot, focusing on key aspects of installation and troubleshooting. Participants will gain an understanding of the installation process and acquire foundational knowledge to address common issues effectively.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Remember What You Are Good At
It is common knowledge that there is a worldwide shortage of qualified avionics engineers. This session will look at the progression of avionics maintenance facilities and how your business has evolved into what it is today. You will gain an understanding of the dynamics of your business as we focus on the shortage of maintenance engineers and how to overcome the issues and hire valuable staff.
12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch
1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Cirrus Maintenance and Avionics
This session covers the Cirrus Perspective that includes troubleshooting and return to service of the Garmin GTX 345 STC, troubleshooting power distribution squawks and annunciation anomalies, including high-side current monitor erroneous indications. It also includes a thorough review of P-Static in Cirrus aircraft, and locating and repairing trouble spots. The session will review Cirrus service and training organizations and training opportunities.
2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Avidyne - IFD retrofit Tips and Tricks/Vantage Upgrade
The important things to remember when upgrading a customer's navigator from a GNS to an IFD. Specifically, mandatory considerations and the optional features that are often missed in a GNS to IFD Swap. Attendees will greatly benefit from this training in order to help customers make an informed decision on all the available features the IFD has to offer.

Training technicians on the installation and configuration, Avidyne representatives will explain the available options, parts, and components necessary to complete the Vantage12 upgrade and the system requirements to help the customer make an informed decision on their new Vantage12 panel. Avidyne dealers will benefit greatly from this course by gaining a better understanding of the Vantage12 upgrade process from start to finish, and arming themselves with the knowledge of the several options available for their SR20 and SR22 customers.

The objective for this session is to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and skills related to installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of Garmin products. The training aims to cover various administration topics and tools relevant to the field as well. Garmin’s new PlaneSync will be highlighted along with the following hot topics:
  • Discussion of the latest installation, troubleshooting, configuration and administrative topics from training classes and FSE calls.
  • GDL 60 installation and registration topics.
  • New product training – overview, quoting, operations, and installation considerations.
  • Garmin autopilot installation trends and troubleshooting tips.
  • Garmin installation tools:
    • Design guides.
    • Configuration tools.
  • Integrated flight deck support call trends.
