Job Description:

  • Perform maintenance on airframes and Powerplants.
  • Must be able to read, understand and accomplish maintenance manual procedures. Must be able to research and order parts.
  • Ensuring that the repair and installations of all articles and components within their jurisdiction is accomplished within the authority of the repair station and that the Quality Assurance Department, when applicable inspects the work.
  • The proper handling of all parts while in repair process through the shop and when work is completed.
  • To ensure that the maintenance of the shop premises is kept in a clean and orderly manner. All shop equipment is put back to proper location after use.
  • Other jobs and duties may be assigned at the discretion of the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Active Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Pass FAA drug and alcohol program and random testing.
  • Show working proficiency and knowledge of aircraft systems.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00 - $31.00

Job Description:

Come enjoy beautiful Colorado. We are seeking a highly experienced Avionics Manager to help build our avionics department. Haggan Aviation is a part 145 Repair Station for Learjet’s and Hawkers. We currently have dealerships with Aircell, Flight Display Systems, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Rosen Aviation, and Universal Avionics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Avionics Manager will report to the Maintenance Manager.

  • Managing job assignments.
  • Must have good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues.
  • Time management of personnel assigned to the job project. Review time cards for technicians on a daily basis to assure they have worked on their assigned projects and posted their time correctly on time cards.
  • Assist Customer Service Representatives with accurate labor quotes for maintenance items.
  • Provide accurate avionics quotes to the Sales Department
  • Perform avionics line maintenance and avionics installations.
  • Provide training to technician on avionics systems and avionics installs.
  • Manage team of Avionics Technicians.
  • Work with Maintenance Manager and Quality Assurance to ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance items.
  • Provide customer service as needed for the Avionics Department.

Job Requirements:

  • 10 plus years Avionics Corporate Jet experience (preferably hold an A&P license).
  • Pass FAA drug and alcohol program and random testing.
  • Study FAA RVSM requirements and pass Haggan Aviation training RVSM exam.
  • Proficient in Computer applications: MSWord, Excel, AutoCAD, Corridor, and the Internet.
  • Show proficiency with avionics test equipment, RVSM, 91.411 & 91.413 inspections, installation drawings, and inspection tools.

PAY SCALE: Salary $70,000 to $120,000

Night Shift Avionics Line Technician is responsible to the Night Supervisor.

Night Shift Avionics Line Technician Duties:

  • Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems in numerous types of turbine aircraft.
  • Perform Avionics Installs.
  • Perform RVSM Inspections.
  • Perform FAR 91.411 and 91.413 inspections.
  • Perform Incoming and Outgoing Avionics Inspections.

Job Requirements:

  • Two plus years avionics experience required.
  • Airframe license or previous Repairman ‘s Certificate a plus.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.00 - $30.00

Job Description:

The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible to the Maintenance Manager. Work schedule: Tuesday to Friday 10 hour shifts with two 15 minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch. Minimum 10 years in aviation, with 5 years corporate jet experience. Highly qualified with Lear Jet Aircraft and some Avionics.

The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for:

  • The planning, directing and coordinating of maintenance and maintenance personnel.
  • Coordinate and schedule all incoming night maintenance.
  • Training and assisting subordinates in the proper work procedures and practices to be followed.
  • Assure that all maintenance technicians will be adequately qualified prior to assigning them to any maintenance function.
  • Determines personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads.
  • Maintains close liaison with appropriate personnel to provide current aircraft status and forecast down times.
  • Perform incoming inspection and hidden damage inspection of aircraft accepted for maintenance.
  • Perform outgoing inspection of aircraft after maintenance. Perform any operational or functional checks. Assure aircraft is returned to service in the same configuration as accepted.
  • Ascertain that the responsible technician properly executes all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders used by Haggan Aviation.
  • Maintaining the premises of the maintenance area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Monitor time schedules for shift start and end times, breaks and lunches. Executes proper disciplinary action as needed.
  • Review time cards for proper posting of time, description and completeness.
  • Receive verbal turn over at beginning of shift and provide written turn over at end of shift.
  • Initiating purchase requisitions for stock as required.
  • Indoctrinating the personnel in observing the safety precautions relevant to the functions for which they may be utilized.
  • Making available to the technicians under the Night Shift Supervisor control the required technical data on all aircraft, engines, and appliances, for the maintenance accomplished. The data includes manufacturer ‘s maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, parts specifications, related Federal Aviation Administration approved data, and any other technical data used by Haggan Aviation maintenance.
  • Assuring the proper handling of all parts while in repair process and when work is completed.
  • Maintaining the preservation of all units or parts during the work process, installation and storage.
  • Responsible for security of facility at end of shift.

NOTE: The Night Shift supervisor may delegate all duties to any qualified assistant as necessary; however, such delegation does not relieve the Night Shift Supervisor of the overall responsibilities.

PAY SCALE: Salary $60,000 to $95,000
