Corporate Air Center is looking for a qualified Avionics Technician with 4+ years in the field working installations, as well as troubleshooting, technical issues, integrated system errors, configurations and software updates. Experience in the Garmin Integrated Flight Deck systems, Honeywell Apex, Collins Primus as well as non-integrated systems from Avidyne and L3 Communications a plus!

Opportunity to advance to management position within the Part 145 repair station.

Corporate Air Center located in the Pacific Northwest corner of Washington State. Located 65 miles north of Seattle and 65 miles south of Vancouver, Canada. Corporate Air Center works on all types of aircraft with a minor focus on Cirrus. As a Cirrus SJ50 Jet Service Center and Cirrus Piston Service Center, a lot of updates and troubleshooting is Cirrus related. We do installations and troubleshooting on Pilatus PC-12, Bombardier Learjet, King Air and Cessna singles thru Citation CJ series as well as Warbirds and homebuilts.

This position demands the technician to assist in the design, planning and implementation of the requirements, for retrofits on all types of aircraft. Must be familiar with configuring system, updating software. Will be expected to test systems including RVSM, and Part 9.411/91.413 certifications. Responsible for maintaining records as require under the Part 145 Repair Station rules and regulations.

Operation and use of Aeroflex IFR 6000 and 4000 as well as a complete understanding DPMS pitot static test unit.

Northeast Air is looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to support our Avionics Manager in our rapidly growing Pilatus Service Center and FAA 145 repair station in Portland, Maine. Full-time Monday thru Friday position, with occasional on-call schedule for the weekends. Benefits eligible with a competitive wage commensurate with experience. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for installation and testing of aircraft electronics equipment and systems, fabrication, termination and testing of avionics system wiring harness, and the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interior and instrument panels. The right candidate must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and other installation technical data. Skills Required: • Must be able to pass a DOT-FAA pre-employment drug screening physical. • Valid driver’s license required • Must have sufficient experience to obtain a Repairman’s Certificate. • 2+ years of recent experience in General Aviation Avionics preferred • Experience on Pilatus PC 12 aircraft, King Air & CJ-525’s preferred • Excellent troubleshooting skills and solid knowledge of all aircraft mechanical and electrical system functions and interactions. • Strong background in Garmin, Honeywell & Collins avionics products. • Working knowledge of FAA regulations and Inspection Procedures. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, both oral and written, possess strong listening skills, the ability to problem-solve, be well organized, have a keen attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Proficiency on the computer and spreadsheet programs a must. The position requires the ability to deliver accuracy under pressure and time constraints while being flexible as needed to accommodate internal and external customer needs.
