The first week of October is a busy one, as the Aircraft Electronics Association plays host to a Certified Repair Station Training Course, Oct. 1-5, at the Dan Derby Center for Professional Development in Lee’s Summit, Mo.
This week-long course is divided into training modules designed for start-up repair stations, as well as mature operations looking to improve their understanding of the regulations, performing internal audits and editing repair station manuals. The modules are presented by Ric Peri, AEA vice president of government and industry affairs.
The course is for current quality managers, technicians, mechanics and repairmen who are involved in the management of a repair station, as well as individuals looking to establish a 14 CFR Part 145 repair station.
