Avionics Lead

Eagle Aviation, Inc. located in West Columbia, SC celebrating over 50 years is looking for an Avionics Lead.

Must be well versed with working on all types of avionics equipment such as Garmin, L3, Honeywell.

The Avionics Install Lead is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, managing costs for each installation and delivering a quality aircraft/product on time.

Research technical data and performs inspection, troubleshooting, testing, adjusting, and repairing of avionics equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations and Eagle Aviation policies and procedures. 

A&P license preferred.

Regional Sales Manager Position for DAC International (West Coast Region)

Role will be responsible for the following:

Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.
Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.

Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
Grow revenue minimally by 25% within 6 months
Close sales with value added solutions, STCs, etc.
Find and develop new suppliers and products aligned with business strategy
50% domestic travel


Bachelor's Degree
7+ years experience selling in Aerospace industry
Experience with customers in the following categories:
Part 25 Maintenance/Avionics Organizations
Part 25/135 Fleet Operators (Ex. Citations, Falcons, Challengers, Gulfstream, DASH-8, Hawker, Lear etc.)
Helicopter Operators (Specifically Sikorsky S76)
Airlines/Regional Airlines (Specifically 757, Dash-8)
Military Contractors/Sub Contractors (Blackhawks, C-130 etc.)
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Requirements – Systems knowledge of ADS-B, FANS, CPDLC, ADS-C
Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
Desired: Pilot’s License

Job Summary/Basic Function:

This position assists the Program Manager in providing instructional and technical support for aviation and advanced avionics labs. Assists in ensuring that appropriate tools, parts, and equipment are available, well-maintained, and in operational order and that the labs are prepared and ready for projects as schedule dictates. Assist in maintaining appropriate student, staff, and facility safety. Works directly with students, assisting them with necessary support for the accomplishment of aviation and avionics projects and theory assignments. Reports to Associate Dean of Aviation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • FAA AMT Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings (or ability to obtain)
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Adapts in changing environments; able to be flexible in shifting projects or priorities to meet needs
  • Professional, ethical, and appropriate in all public and private interactions
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage stress well
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse groups to achieve goals
  • Comfortable and proficient in communicating and operating in a virtual environment
  • Ability to complete required training for specialty equipment
  • Can safely operate basic hand or power tools to create simple objects for use by the faculty (e.g. shipping crates, jigs, and cradles)

Physical Demands:
